1. Pre-event Questions and Answers
There will be a 7 day question and answer period for each event. The 7 days
is from the post date of the event on the web. All questions and answers will
be replied to ALL and posted on event page. After the 7 day period, the Q &
A period is over and each team is left to their own interpretation of the event.
2. Event Interference
There is a 4 student MAXIMUM per event. Teams are not allowed to bring extra
students into the event areas in order to observe. In terms of non-members/adults
interfering with participating teams, student participants need to speak up.
Team members are responsible to inform uninformed observers that their assistance
will disqualify the team for that event. Coaches need to communicate this responsibility
to their team members. NSSL utilizes an honor system!
3. Modification of stations during events is not permitted. Coaches need to remind their team members of the proper rules of conduct during events. Moderators need to be more mindful of station alterations. If a station is modified and students have been identified, the team will be disqualified from the event. In the event that the students responsible can not be identified, the questions will be removed from the correcting of the event.
4. Stipend for Webmaster was voted on and approved unanimously for $200.00/year, aligned with other NSSL positions.
5. There was no financial report/stipend reimbursement, it will take place at the September coaches meeting.
